Jason Williams fires Blues hat-trick

Jason Williams continued his scintillating start to the season by blasting a hat-trick for Bishop’s Stortford in their 5-0 win at Dunstable Town.

Former Southend United frontman Williams – who joined the club in the summer on a non-contract basis – has now netted 8 goals in the Southern Premier League to take himself up to the top of the goal scoring charts.

On-loan Stevenage striker Dipo Akinyemi gave the Blues the lead in the second minute and ACHIEVE client Williams had made it 3-0 before the 20 minute mark.

Player-assistant manager Mark Hughes got his first goal for the club in the 40th minute before Williams wrapped up his hat-trick 17 minutes from time.
