Exciting Hitchin Town player Finley Wilkinson has become the latest ACHIEVE client to complete a move into full-time football by joining Barnet.
Wilkinson has been a revelation for the Canaries, hitting 17 goals this season in all competitions and his form attracted the attentions of a whole host of clubs but it is the Bees who have won the race for his signature as he has penned a two-year deal at The Hive.
Wilkinson began his career in the academy at Ipswich Town, before moving to Histon and then on to Top Field.
In total, he scored 28 goals in 79 appearances in all competitions for Hitchin Town.
ACHIEVE Director James Garley said: “This move presents a fantastic opportunity for Finley to make the move into full-time football with an ambitious club who have come so close in the past two seasons to making it back into the Football League.
“Dean Brennan has a real knack for finding players and developing them and this move is one that makes sense for all parties, which just happens sometimes in football.
“We wish Finley, Barnet and Hitchin Town every success for next season.”
