Immanuelson Duku strikes his first professional goal

Immanuelson Duku netted his first ever goal in the Football League to earn Cheltenham Town a point in a 1-1 draw at Macclesfield Town.

6 foot 3″ frontman Duku – a summer signing from non-league Hayes & Yeading United – struck with five minutes remaining, having come off the bench following a lay-off after dislocating his shoulder at Tranmere Rovers.

Danny Whitaker had put the hosts ahead from a free-kick after 19 minutes.

Congratulations on your first goal in professional football from everyone at ACHIEVE, Manny.

However, it was announced after the match that Cheltenham Town manager Gary Johnson has left the club. Both Gary and his brother, Peter, who is the club’s chief scout, have been very good friends of ours at ACHIEVE over the years and we wish them both all the very best for the future.
